Once you get deep into a conversation about the marketing of a business and what they’re currently doing online you’ll start to get ideas on how they might be able to increase their sales with better online marketing.
If it’s possible at all the best way to present these ideas is by telling stories or explaining cases studies of other businesses.
And they don’t have to be brick and mortar businesses either.
You can tell any story from internet marketing that you know to get your idea across.
For example: “I know a guy called Jonathon Leger who sold a simple blog online for $7 and not only did he make $3,000 in a week he also brought in a huge pile of targeted customers he could offer his higher priced products to. Best of all he had their email addresses.”
“Now I doubt you’d take in $3,000 a week but can you imagine having an email list of over 400 people who were keen enough to buy a blog that leads in to your product? Do you think a few of those prospects would buy from you?”
“Best of all we can set up a system like this so it runs on autopilot for you bringing you in new prospects for months and even years to come.”
Just tell plenty of stories and come up with plenty of ideas.
You’re sure to hit on a few you both like.
And you’re going to get the business owner so excited you’ll have to peel him off the ceiling before you leave!
Next we’ll talk about how to get a business owner eager to give you money in exchange for your services…
