Now you are ready to begin going a little deeper into your research by applying a fairly ‘traditional’ method of finding a profitable market ‘niche’, one that is used by lots of internet marketers running many different types of businesses.
To begin, you need to evaluate the markets that you are interested in, rather than looking at specific products within those markets.
If the market as a whole is not one where people who spend money can be found, then you know that you are wasting your time almost immediately.

This has absolutely nothing at all to do with the internet, and everything to do with the nature of human beings, so the pattern is not likely to alter any time soon.

If so, then it has probably just stolen to the number one spot on you list.
Okay, now we will sort your ideas still further by referring to another list, one that is more internet specific. These are some of the most regularly searched categories of products that people are seeking through the internet search engines:

- paintings,
- cars,
- books,
- marketing,
- employment,
- clothing,
- commerce.
